Hurt, Dory travels to the surface to seek help and is rescued by the Marine Life Institute after being caught in six pack rings, becoming separated from Marlin and Nemo.ĭory is sent to the Quarantine section and tagged. Dory has become a helping hand in raising Nemo. The story then cuts to one year after the original film. This eventually leads to her meeting a clownfish named Marlin and helping him rescue his son named Nemo. As Dory grows up on her own, she asks many fish to help her find her way back to her family, only to forget what she was asking them for help. The scene then cuts to Baby Dory lost in the ocean. The films opens with Dory as a baby in a tank playing with her parents Charlie, and Jenny. Their journey leads to them a Marine Life Institute where they begin a hilarious and heartwarming search and meet some new friends. One day when Dory remembers where her parents live, she, Marlin and Nemo head off on an epic quest to find them. The three of them have now become very close friends. The animation factory has a series of sequels on deck for the next several years, including The Incredibles 2, Cars 3, and Toy Story 4-but the one that we might just be most excited for (and that's closest in reach) is Finding Dory, the much-awaited follow-up to Finding Nemo. All of their films, from adorable originals to their even-better follow-ups, deliver full-throttle feelings in the cutest of packages, and we simply cannot get enough. Let's face it: Pixar always, always nails it. (Actually, Hank is a "septopus" because he lost a tentacle-and his sense of humor-along the way.) Charlie (Eugene Levy) and Jenny (Diane Keaton), parents of Dory They'll do anything for their memory-challenged daughter! Then there's Becky the Ioon (Torbin Bullock) She beats to her own drum-and the others are skeptical of her abilities to help out-but she's way Behold! So we're pretty psyched to introduce you to the new characters (and their celeb counterparts) that you'll meet in Finding Dory. Dory, as you know, is voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, and the film would not be complete without a ton of friends under the sea (voiced by big celebrities) helping Dory out. What we know about the movie so far is that forgetful Royal Blue Tang fish Dory takes center stage with her own adventure to find her parents.
We have to just "keep on swimming" until June 17, which is when Finding Dory, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2003 Pixar hit Finding Nemo hits theaters.
